8th Annual SPR Mutt Strut

Join the heartwarming 8th Annual SPR Mutt Strut on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the scenic Fond du Lac parks, with the event kicking off from Lakeside Park Oven Island. This popular 5K run/walk offers a fantastic opportunity for both seasoned runners and casual walkers to enjoy a beautiful course while supporting a vital cause. All proceeds from the event directly benefit Sandi Paws Rescue, aiding their mission to save abused and abandoned dogs and cats.

What truly sets the SPR Mutt Strut apart is its embrace of our furry friends. Participants are encouraged to bring their well-behaved, socialized, and vaccinated canine companions to share in the fun (please, no retractable leashes for everyone's safety). If you'd like to run alongside a rescue pup, arrangements can even be made to pair you with one! Water dishes will be thoughtfully placed along the route to keep all the four-legged participants hydrated. Packet pick-up begins at 7 AM, with the race starting promptly at 8 AM, followed by an awards ceremony to celebrate achievements.
