Organized by the dedicated seventh-grade class of Beekmantown Middle School as a project-based learning initiative, the North Country Honor Run proudly benefits the North Country Honor Flight. This vital non-profit organization ensures that our World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans receive the honor they deserve by transporting them to Washington, D.C., to visit their national memorials. The day begins with a poignant Honor Flight send-off ceremony at 7:00 a.m., with the 5K race kicking off at 8:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic apparel, adding to the inspiring atmosphere.
