Prepare to conquer the summer heat at The Inferno Challenge, set to ignite Harns Marsh in Lehigh Acres, Florida, on Saturday, July 18, 2026. This race dares participants across 50K, 25K, and 5K distances to embrace the "Florida fire" and test their limits under the scorching sun. Runners can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 91F and lows around 75F, alongside a 29% chance of precipitation, making hydration and heat management crucial.

The Inferno Challenge course is renowned for its flat and fast terrain, comprised of grass and crushed shell, though shade is minimal. The true test of this event isn't elevation, but the relentless heat and humidity that define a Florida summer. The 25K distance features four loops, while the 50K is an eight-loop course, each approximately four miles through the scenic, sun-drenched trails of Harns Marsh. Starting at 7:30 AM for all distances, runners have until the 12:00 PM cut-off time to prove their mettle against the elements.

To support runners in this challenging environment, fully stocked aid stations will provide water, electrolytes, ice, snacks, and essential cooling support.
