Typical race day conditions in early June see highs around 81°F and lows around 62°F, with a 17% chance of precipitation, so be prepared for a potentially warm and humid run.

The course itself is a highlight, primarily winding along a paved bike path beside the picturesque Pennypack Creek, offering miles of running within city limits but feeling completely immersed in nature with no vehicle traffic. While mostly shaded, the middle section of the course features a series of short but steep rolling hills, earning it the nickname "Achterbahn" or "rollercoaster" from some runners.
