This inspiring event offers distances for every pace, including a challenging 9K Run, a popular 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a fun-filled 1 Mile Fun Run. The unique 9K distance honors CMSAF James C. Binnicker's legacy as the 9th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, with the inaugural run taking place at Bob Hope Village in 2015. Participants will embark from Bob Hope Village Commons, where the start and finish lines converge, leading into a lively post-race celebration. While roadways will remain open, requiring runners to observe pedestrian safety laws, the course is well-supported with four water stations along the way, and medical aid available near the finish.

More than just a race, this event serves a vital cause, with all proceeds directly benefiting the memory care wing at the Air Force Enlisted Village's Hawthorn House, providing essential care for military widows, retirees, veterans, and their families living with Alzheimer's and dementia. Runners can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 85F and lows around 70F, and only a 10% chance of precipitation, making for a warm but generally clear run. The first 300 registrants for the 9K and 5K will receive an exclusive event shirt and a commemorative challenge coin.
