This cherished event, a highlight of the local running calendar for over a decade, offers participants a truly unique experience winding through picturesque pecan orchards. The 10K route provides a scenic journey on dirt roads under a canopy of trees, creating a memorable fall ambiance as the leaves turn yellow and pecans prepare for harvest. The 5K is an accessible out-and-back course, and both distances are proudly baby jogger friendly, making it an ideal event for all ages and skill levels.

Starting and finishing at the Green Valley Pecan Company, the Pecan Classic is part of the larger "Orchard Series," allowing runners to experience the beauty of the orchards through different seasons.
