Starting at 4 PM from Johnny Walker Beach, also known as Georgia Beach, participants will enjoy a flat and fast course designed for all abilities. With typical race day conditions boasting highs around 65F and lows around 44F and only a 14% chance of precipitation, it promises ideal running weather.

The course itself is clearly marked with arrows and cones, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience as you traverse the roads of Lewes. Hydration is readily available with water stops at the start, finish, and approximately halfway through the course. What truly sets this event apart is its celebratory atmosphere, encouraging runners and walkers to don their best patriotic attire for a chance to win awards for the top three outfits. After crossing the finish line, the festivities continue with a lively post-race gathering featuring bonfires, hot dogs, pretzels, s'mores, and even some healthier options.
