2025 Ranger Ruck

Prepare for an invigorating challenge at the 5th annual Ranger Ruck, taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in scenic Stevens Point, WI. This inspiring 6.1-mile (10K) event invites participants to ruck with a weighted pack (35 pounds), run, or walk a picturesque out-and-back route. The course begins at the UWSP Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall and winds gracefully through the natural beauty of Schmeeckle Reserve, including two loops around the lake, before returning to the start/finish area near Coleman Track. Expect typical race day conditions with highs around 72F and lows around 52F, accompanied by a modest 15% chance of precipitation.

The Ranger Ruck offers a unique blend of challenge and community, making it a standout event on the Wisconsin racing calendar. Participants will find enthusiastic support on the course, with Cadets and UWSP Hockey players assisting with directions and street crossings. Your registration includes an event t-shirt and a goody bag, with prizes awarded to the top three finishers in both the Ruck and Run/Walk categories.
