The course itself begins along Simmonds Drive near Montrose Beach, leading runners north past Foster Avenue and Hollywood Beach before looping back towards Montrose Beach Park. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 69°F and lows around 50°F, alongside a manageable 20% chance of precipitation. What truly sets the Cinco de Miler apart is its lively atmosphere, culminating in a spectacular finish under an iconic 3-story piñata arch that ushers participants into the unforgettable post-race celebration.

The "Cinco de Miler Cantina" awaits at the finish line, transforming Montrose Harbor into an epic fiesta. Runners are greeted with delicious Mexican treats, complimentary beer or Mexican Mules for those 21 and over, and the vibrant sounds of a live mariachi band.
