2026 Falling for You (MD) 5k/10k/Half

Lace up your running shoes for the 2026 Falling for You 5k/10k/Half, a picturesque race taking place on Valentine's Day, February 14th, in Potomac, Maryland. Runners can choose from a Half Marathon (13.1M), 10K, or 5K distance, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the C&O Canal and Potomac River. The course features a light gravel dirt road with minimal elevation change, offering a scenic, tree-lined, and largely shaded out-and-back experience. This gentle terrain makes it an inviting event for runners of all levels, with stunning waterfall views to enjoy along the way and after you cross the finish line.

Participants can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 44°F and lows around 26°F, and only an 11% chance of precipitation, creating a crisp winter running environment. To support your journey, the Half Marathon route is well-equipped with seven aid stations, the 10K with four, and the 5K with one, all providing water, and some offering Gatorade. Each finisher will be rewarded with a medal and a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, while also contributing to a good cause as proceeds support Operation Turbo.
