2026 Heatwave Hustle 5k/10k

Lace-up for the 2026 Heatwave Hustle 5k/10k, set to unfold on June 28, 2026, in scenic Winchester, VA. This popular event, hosted by Bishop's Events, invites runners to experience the picturesque grounds of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. The course itself is mostly paved with rolling hills and some gravel sections, offering lovely views throughout. Participants in the 5K will complete one out-and-back loop, while 10K runners will tackle two laps of this engaging route.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 86°F and lows near 65°F, and a 15% chance of precipitation, making for a true "Heatwave Hustle" experience. To keep you hydrated, the 10K course features three water stations at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65, with the 5K offering one at mile 1.55, some of which will provide Gatorade. All registered runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip-timed results. The race also supports a worthy cause, with the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley benefiting as the charity benefactor.
