Beyond the scenic and speedy course, this year's event holds particular distinction as it has been awarded the USATF Florida State 5K Open and Masters Championship for 2026. This means top finishers will not only earn race trophies for overall, masters, and age group victories (awarded five deep in each category), but also special USATF awards and the prestigious title of Florida State 5K Champion.
