This cherished event, hosted at the Army National Guard Training Center, continues its tradition of honoring the legacy of the late SGT Samuel Nutter, a dedicated service member who served in the U.S. Navy's EOD unit attached to a Navy SEAL team and later as an Officer Candidate for the New Jersey Army National Guard. Every step you take supports a vital cause, as 100% of the proceeds directly benefit a New Jersey National Guard family in need. For 2026, the race proudly supports Specialist Gregory Mitchell, who is on his recovery journey from a severe car accident that resulted in multiple brain bleeds and a traumatic brain injury.

The course, certified by USA Track and Field, offers a unique opportunity to run or walk within the grounds of the Army National Guard Training Center.
