33rd Annual Fast Flash 5k and Back 2 School Bash

The 33rd Annual Fast Flash 5k and Back 2 School Bash returns to Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 25, 2026, offering runners an excellent opportunity for a personal best on its famously fast and flat course. A beloved fixture in the local running community, this event is renowned for being one of Indianapolis's quickest 5K routes, winding around Franklin Central High School on well-maintained roads. Alongside the 5K, a fun 2K is available, making it a fantastic experience for runners of all ages and a true family favorite.

Beyond the race, participants and spectators alike can dive into the vibrant Back 2 School Bash. This unique post-race celebration features an array of engaging activities, including a Splash Tower, air-brush tattoos, a Sport-Zone, Photo-Zone, and Game-Zone. Attendees can even enjoy a cornhole tournament, meet the IMPD Mounted Patrol and Motorcycle Drill Team, and see an Indiana State Police helicopter.
