Lace up for the 45th Annual FWRC J.P. Jones Just Plain 10k Run/Walk, 3.3k Run/Walk, and Breakfast Picnic, set for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This beloved, family-friendly event offers both a 10K and a 3.3K distance, inviting runners and walkers of all paces to participate in a morning of movement and community spirit. The course guides participants along the paved walk/run paths of Foster Park and extends onto an out-and-back section of the paved path south of the park, providing a smooth and scenic experience on greenway trails.

Beginning at 8:00 AM EDT, the race starts from 3900 Old Mill Rd, with packet pick-up and day-of registration conveniently located at Foster Park Pavilion #1. Typical race day conditions in early June include comfortable highs around 80°F and lows around 59°F, with a low chance of precipitation, creating pleasant running weather. Aid stations will be available along the 10k route to ensure hydration. This event is more than just a race; it's a heartfelt tribute to FWRC member J.P. Jones and celebrates community giving.
