Hosted by the Colorado Tap House, this event offers a fantastic twist on traditional running, inviting both serious competitors and families seeking a memorable day out. Participants will embark on a one-mile journey along the picturesque Ralston Creek Trail, completing quarter-mile out-and-back loops. Typical race day conditions in early March offer pleasant running weather, with highs around 53°F and lows around 23°F, and only a 5% chance of precipitation.

What makes this race truly stand out are its distinctive challenges: the Beer Mile and the family-friendly Donut Hole Mile. In the Beer Mile, runners consume a 12oz beer before each of the four quarter-mile laps, with a Beer Relay option for two-person teams. Alternatively, the Donut Hole Mile challenges participants to eat a total of ten donut holes—five glazed and five chocolate—progressively increasing the count before each lap. Successfully downing your chosen treats, verified by an official, is crucial before continuing your run. While not a quest for Guinness World Records, top individual male, female, and team finishers will earn a coveted spot on the Colorado Tap House Wall of Champions.
