5K Color Run & Walk

Get ready to infuse your run with a burst of color at the 5K Color Run & Walk, set to take place in Pierce, NE, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The experience kicks off at 8:30 AM from the Pierce Soccer Field Parking Lot at 201 S Sunset St, where participants are encouraged to arrive early for swag bag and shirt pickup. Typical race day conditions in late June can see highs around 84°F and lows around 61°F, with a modest 16% chance of precipitation, making for pleasant running weather.

What makes this 5K truly stand out is its festive atmosphere, promising vibrant colors, energetic music, face painting, and even a bouncy house for family enjoyment. Runners and walkers alike will traverse a course designed for enjoyment, getting doused in colorful powders along the way, transforming the run into a living rainbow. While the focus is on participation and community spirit, the top three male and female finishers will receive prizes, and there's a special award for the Best Costume, encouraging creative expression.
