5th Annual 7th President 7K Run

Set against the backdrop of one of America's most historic sites, the 5th Annual 7th President 7K Run invites participants to journey through the picturesque grounds of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in Nashville, TN, on October 17, 2026. This unique event offers a captivating cross-country course, weaving runners across paved pathways, open fields, and charming trails amidst rolling hills and scenic landscapes. As you navigate the diverse terrain, you'll encounter significant landmarks, including Tulip Grove Mansion, once home to Rachel Jackson's nephew, and the historic Hermitage Church, built in 1824. The exhilarating 7K race culminates at the magnificent Hermitage Mansion, the crown jewel of the property. For those preferring a more leisurely exploration, a 2-mile walking course is also available, perfect for soaking in the rich history and natural beauty of this National Historic Landmark.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with comfortable highs around 73°F and lows near 49°F, accompanied by a low 14% chance of precipitation, creating ideal autumn running weather. While the course features some hills, it promises an engaging challenge for all levels. Strollers are not recommended due to the unpaved sections of the route. Parking will be accessible via the Old Hickory Blvd entrance, with volunteers directing participants to designated areas. Beyond the finish line, the first 300 registrants will be rewarded with a custom medal and a Grounds Pass to Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, valid through October 17, 2027, allowing for further exploration of this iconic estate. This event not only promotes fitness but also supports the Andrew Jackson Foundation's mission to preserve this invaluable historical site.
