8th Annual One King Sports 5K & Kids Race

The 8th Annual One King Sports 5K & Kids Race, set for Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Clarksburg, WV, offers a fantastic opportunity for runners of all ages and abilities. This 3.1-mile (5K) out-and-back course unfolds along the scenic Harrison County Rail Trail, beginning and ending at the Freedom Shelter within Veteran's Memorial Park. The rail trail provides a generally flat and well-marked route, guided by numerous volunteers, making for an enjoyable experience amidst beautiful surroundings. Typical race day conditions in early May feature pleasant temperatures, with highs around 73°F and lows near 49°F, and only a 19% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.
