ACOG on the Move!

Lace up your shoes for the inaugural ACOG on the Move! race on Friday, May 1, 2026, in the nation's capital, Washington, District of Columbia. This event offers participants the choice of a 3.11-mile (5K) or 1-mile run/walk, providing a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your day with energy while supporting a vital cause.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Hains Point, the course promises a "fast & flat" out-and-back experience, treating runners and walkers to beautiful views of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers and other iconic DC landmarks. As an inaugural event, ACOG on the Move! presents a unique chance to be part of its history, contributing to the ACOG Foundation's mission to improve ob-gyn care and foster brighter futures for patients. The race also coincides with the ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting, offering attendees a refreshing break. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 73F and lows around 54F, with a modest 17% chance of precipitation. Shuttle buses will be provided to ensure convenient transportation to and from the anticipated Hains Point venue, where the race kicks off bright and early at 6:00 AM EDT.
