Aether's Traverse

The Aether's Traverse, a challenging 35-mile gravel cycling event, invites riders to Sandpoint, Idaho, on August 15, 2026, for an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of the Idaho Panhandle. This point-to-point "gravel grinder" kicks off in Sandpoint and culminates atop Schweitzer Mountain Resort at the breathtaking Sky House, offering approximately 6,300 feet of elevation gain. Riders will navigate predominantly gravel roads, with only two brief sections of asphalt, demanding traction tires for the varied terrain.

The route promises a memorable experience as it edges westward from Sandpoint, traversing the southern reaches of the Selkirk Range into the Priest River drainage basin before winding back to climb the Selkirk Crest.
