Designed to motivate participants to "StayTrue" on their fitness path, this beloved event celebrates its sixth year by proudly introducing its inaugural 13.1 Half Marathon distance, alongside the popular 5K and 10K options. Runners can anticipate three exciting new courses crafted to showcase the beautiful scenery of Vance County, starting and finishing in historic Downtown Henderson at 200 Breckenridge Street.
The courses offer a dynamic experience for all levels. The 5K features a loop with a hospitality station near Old AIMHigh on N. Garnett Street, while the 10K extends further along N. Garnett Street and Satterwhite Point Road, with a hospitality station at Back to Eden. Half marathoners will embark on a scenic route that includes Satterwhite Point Road, Hedrick Drive, and Kerr Lake Club Road, offering a hospitality station at the Kerr Lake Country Club. Typical race day conditions in early May boast pleasant highs around 77F and lows around 54F, with only a 13% chance of precipitation, providing an ideal environment for personal bests. Aid stations with water will be available to support runners throughout their journey.
