This popular event offers half marathon (13.1M) and 10K distances, catering to both seasoned runners and those looking for a "frightfully fun" experience. Typical race day conditions often see comfortable highs around 59°F and lows near 35°F, with a minimal chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather as daylight saving time ends and grants you an extra hour of sleep.

The predominantly paved courses, starting from Jefferson County's NAAC Stadium, wind along the scenic Ralston Creek Trail and hug the shores of Arvada's Blunn Reservoir, offering breathtaking views of the Front Range and Colorado's spectacular foothills. While generally described as fast, prepare for some challenging elevation changes, particularly a notable incline around mile 10 for half marathoners, making for a rewarding accomplishment. Along the route, half marathoners can expect eight aid stations with water, Gatorade, and Gu energy gels, and three with port-a-potties, while 10K runners will find three aid stations.

What truly sets the All-Out Kooky-Spooky apart is its vibrant Halloween theme. Runners are highly encouraged to don their most creative costumes for a contest with multiple categories, including individual, group, and even canine. This official BOLDERBoulder Qualifier event, hosted by All-Out Multicourse Productions, is known for its excellent organization, clear course markings, and free race photos.
