Arapahoe Warrior 5K

Lace up for the 7th Annual Arapahoe Warrior 5K on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in scenic Centennial, Colorado. This 3.1-mile event offers a fantastic opportunity to run, jog, or walk a clearly marked, out-and-back course through the picturesque residential streets of Centennial. With a modest elevation gain of 109 feet and a loss of 89 feet, the route provides a gentle challenge, ideal for all fitness levels. The race kicks off at 8:00 AM from Arapahoe High School, where ample parking is available in the school lot and surrounding neighborhoods.

Participating in the Arapahoe Warrior 5K is more than just a race; it's a direct way to support the Arapahoe Warrior Cross Country Team, with $10 from every registration benefiting the Booster Club. Runners can look forward to typical race day conditions with highs around 86°F and lows near 59°F, and only a 7% chance of precipitation, making for a pleasant morning run. Beyond the course, the race is renowned for its vibrant community atmosphere and excellent post-race festivities. All registered participants are treated to a delicious pancake breakfast by Flippin' Flap Jacks, complete with sausage and orange juice. Competitive runners will vie for one of 62 custom 3.5-inch die-cast medals awarded to the top three finishers in various age groups.
