ARR Desert Classic Half Marathon and 5K

This cherished tradition invites runners to experience a professionally marked and chip-timed road course, starting and finishing at scenic Thunderbird Paseo Park. Participants in both the 13.1-mile half marathon and the 5K will navigate a course featuring some gradual hills and declines, offering an engaging challenge without being overly strenuous. The USATF-certified half marathon route allows for a competitive experience, while both distances promise picturesque desert landscapes and mountain views, especially in the crisp desert air.

Runners can anticipate ideal race day conditions, with typical highs around 68°F and lows around 43°F, accompanied by a mere 3% chance of precipitation, creating a perfect winter running environment.
