Autumn & Ales 1/2, 10K & 5K

Lace up your running shoes for the 7th annual Autumn & Ales 1/2, 10K & 5K, set to take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in scenic Scarborough, Maine. This beloved event welcomes runners of all levels, offering a Half Marathon (13.1M), 10K, and 5K distance, all beginning and ending at the American Legion Post 76. The "same great path" takes participants on an out-and-back journey along the picturesque Scarborough Marsh off-road section of the Eastern Trail, promising breathtaking autumn scenery. Typical race day conditions in mid-September feature pleasant highs around 73°F and lows around 54°F, with only a 10% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.

What truly sets Autumn & Ales apart is its vibrant post-race celebration and its commitment to charity. After crossing the finish line, participants aged 21 and over can unwind and toast their accomplishments in a lively Beer Garden, sponsored by Nonesuch River Brewing. The course features multiple water stops to keep runners hydrated. Beyond the run, this event serves as a significant fundraiser, with all donations and sponsorships for 2026 directly supporting Maine Needs, an important local non-profit.
