This unique night run, celebrating its 7th annual event, invites runners of all skill levels to experience a course that mirrors a raccoon's evening journey, starting and finishing at the scenic Community Park located at 270 County Line Road.

The Bandit 5K features a certified two-loop course described as mostly flat with some rolling sections, guiding participants through the local park and a charming neighborhood. While primarily on road surfaces, previous runners have noted some areas of busted asphalt that are clearly marked for safety. Typical race day conditions for late May include highs around 80°F and lows around 59°F, with an 18% chance of precipitation, so runners can anticipate a warm and potentially humid evening. Hydration will be readily available with plenty of water and Gatorade on course, and all finishers are celebrated with a custom medal, a custom event t-shirt, and complimentary race photos.

Beyond the race itself, the Bandit 5K is renowned for its lively atmosphere and generous post-race festivities, often including delicious food options like BBQ sandwiches in past years, alongside an array of scrumptious snacks.
