Battle Run

Lace up for the Battle Run on May 2, 2026, a truly unique event set within the picturesque Henry Horton State Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee. This eighth annual race offers a diverse challenge for every runner, all while supporting A Soldier's Child Foundation. Participants can choose their battle, with distances including the demanding 13.1-mile "Battle Axe" trail run, the 3.1-mile "Anvil" trail run, or the exhilarating 3-plus mile "Gauntlet" obstacle course, featuring over 20 challenges to test your grit. The courses wind through scenic trails and fields, offering some hills to keep things interesting.

Expect typical race day conditions with highs around 76F and lows near 50F, and only a 19% chance of precipitation, providing a comfortable environment for your efforts. Beyond the race itself, the Battle Run is a celebration honoring military service members, fostering a vibrant festival atmosphere at the finish line in Henry Horton State Park.
