Beach to Beer 10K and 5K

Get ready for a scenic and rewarding race experience at the 9th Annual Beach to Beer 10K and 5K, set for Saturday, October 17, 2026, in the charming waterfront town of Colonial Beach, VA. This popular event offers a distinctly flat and fast course, guiding runners along the picturesque Potomac River, providing beautiful views as you stride towards the finish line. Runners can expect typical race day conditions with comfortable highs around 71°F and lows around 50°F, along with a minimal 13% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.

Both the 10K and 5K races commence from Colonial Beach Town Hill, located at 427 Washington Ave, with the 10K starting at 9:00 AM and the 5K following at 9:05 AM. Participants will find water stations conveniently placed along the course and at the finish line to keep hydrated. Beyond the race itself, the Beach to Beer event is celebrated for its vibrant post-race party, featuring local craft beers from Colonial Beach Brewery and Ice House Brewery, complimentary snacks, and free downloadable race photos.
