Beat the Bird 5K and 10K

Lace up your running shoes and get ready to *Beat the Bird* on Saturday, November 21, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia! This popular annual event, hosted by the Columbus Road Runners, offers both a 5K and a 10K race, providing the perfect athletic challenge just before your Thanksgiving feast. All finishers are celebrated with a commemorative medal, and those who register by November 13, 2026, will also secure a race shirt. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as top masters and age group categories spanning from 14 and under to 70+. Typical race day conditions in late November in Columbus feature pleasant highs around 67°F and comfortable lows near 44°F, with only a 12% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather.
