The 5K course offers a scenic out-and-back journey along the picturesque Tinker Greenway, starting and finishing at Fallon Park. Nestled within the stunning Appalachian Mountains and the Blue Ridge region, Roanoke itself sits at approximately 1,100 feet of elevation, with the course likely offering gentle rolling terrain along the greenway, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Typical race day conditions in early June include highs around 82°F and lows around 61°F, with an 18% chance of precipitation, making for potentially warm but often enjoyable running weather.
