Breeze In The Trees 5K

Get ready to experience a truly unique summer run at the 15th Annual Breeze In The Trees 5K, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Sahuarita, AZ. This popular 5K offers runners a rare opportunity to traverse the scenic dirt roads and trails through the lush pecan orchards of the Green Valley Pecan Company. Held when the pecan trees boast a full canopy of leaves, the course provides a welcome respite of shade, creating an amazing running experience amidst the trees.

As part of the esteemed "Orchard Series," this event has become a cherished community tradition, known for its well-organized atmosphere and the chance to explore the farm's beauty. The race kicks off at 7:00 AM, with bib pickup starting at 6:15 AM at the Green Valley Pecan Company. Typical race day conditions in early August see highs around 99F and lows around 76F, with a minimal 9% chance of precipitation, making the early start and shaded course particularly appealing. While there may not be dedicated water stations on the course, water bottles are available at the start and finish lines, and runners are encouraged to carry their own hydration.
