Camp Smiles 5K

Embark on a meaningful journey at the Camp Smiles 5K, set to take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the charming community of Aynor, South Carolina. This event is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to support Camp Smiles Grand Strand, a vital program dedicated to providing unforgettable summer experiences for children in Horry County with rare medical conditions. Runners will enjoy a scenic, stroller-friendly out-and-back course that starts and finishes at Aynor High School, guiding participants over the picturesque Aynor Bridge.

The Camp Smiles 5K promises a welcoming atmosphere for all, whether you're aiming for a personal best or enjoying a leisurely stroll. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 78°F and lows around 54°F, with a low 14% chance of precipitation, creating ideal running weather. Following the 8:00 AM 5K start, participants can stay for a 9:00 AM Fun Run and enjoy a vibrant post-race celebration with food trucks and vendors. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as top male and female participants across various age groups.
