The race unfolds along the picturesque Sammamish River Trail, offering a predominantly flat and scenic out-and-back course ideal for personal bests and enjoyable strides. While the 8K and 12K journeys head north, the 5K takes a unique southern route, weaving through the Redmond Town Center trail along Bear Creek Parkway, showcasing local businesses and vibrant surroundings. Typical race day conditions in late October are pleasant, with highs around 58°F and lows around 45°F, and a modest 22% chance of precipitation. The 12K course features two aid stations passed twice, while the 8K has one, also passed twice, all stocked with GU gels and Tailwind Electrolytes in a cupless racing environment. The 5K does not include an aid station on its shorter route.
