The signature 1-mile race offers a unique point-to-point course, starting near the Queen Casino and culminating with a grand finish at the historic Old State Capitol. Runners can expect a scenic journey through the heart of Baton Rouge, with the iconic Old State Capitol providing a memorable backdrop for their achievement. To ensure a seamless experience, a convenient shuttle bus service will transport participants from the finish line back to the start. The event features staggered starts for various divisions, including Masters/Grandmasters, Youth, and Open categories for both women and men, fostering a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere.
