This family-friendly event offers distances for every pace and age, including a 100M Kids Donut Dash, a 1-mile walk, a 5K run/walk, and a 10K run/walk. The courses are entirely on paved trails, starting and finishing at the iconic Scioto Audubon Metro Park near the climbing tower. As you traverse the 10K out-and-back route, you'll journey northward along the picturesque Scioto Multi-Use Trail towards downtown, passing landmarks like Nocterra Brewing and winding through the beautiful Scioto Mile under several city bridges. Aid stations stocked with water are strategically placed along the 10K course at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65 to keep you refreshed. Typical race day conditions in late June bring highs around 83°F and lows around 62°F, with a 22% chance of precipitation, creating a generally warm and pleasant running environment.

What truly sets the Columbus Donut Run and Walk apart is its sweet embrace of all things donuts. Beyond the chip-timed race and instant results, every 1-mile, 5K, and 10K participant receives a custom race bib, a full-color custom diecast finisher medal, and a super soft, blended race shirt.
