Conquer the Bluff

Lace up for the ultimate challenge at "Conquer the Bluff," a demanding 4.2-mile race set against the scenic backdrop of Jacksboro, TN, on May 2, 2026. This event promises an invigorating ascent, beginning on Eagle Bluff Road and quickly transitioning to a gravel path with a series of switchbacks, culminating in a trail to the majestic summit of Eagle Bluff. Runners will tackle an impressive 930 feet of elevation gain, pushing their limits to reach breathtaking panoramic views of the valley—a perfect reward and photo opportunity before descending back to the finish line.

The Conquer the Bluff race is more than just a physical test; it's a community event with a noble cause. Proceeds from the race directly fund scholarships for deserving students at Campbell County High School, honoring the memories of Ken Bruce and Nolan Baird. This challenging course, starting and finishing at the vacant lot behind the Eagle Gas and Food Market at 3070 Appalachian Hwy, offers a unique opportunity to achieve a personal best while supporting local education.
