Cookie Crumble

Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the delightful Cookie Crumble, a unique and community-focused event set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Maumee, OH. Runners will embark on a scenic journey along the Metropark Trail, starting and finishing from the cozy indoors of The Lamb Center at Side Cut Metropark. The course winds its way toward the historic Fallen Timbers Monument, with the 5-mile turnaround near the Fallen Timbers Battlegrounds Metropark entrance and the 10-mile route extending towards the North Fork trail/bike path before looping back near Monclova Elementary School. This event emphasizes fun and friendship over competition, offering a relaxed atmosphere without formal results or awards.

What truly sets the Cookie Crumble apart is its festive, post-run experience. Upon completing your chosen distance, participants are welcomed back indoors to indulge in delicious cookies and warm hot chocolate. Runners are even encouraged to bring their favorite homemade cookies to share and partake in a friendly cookie competition. With typical race day conditions seeing highs around 34F and lows around 19F, and only a 10% chance of precipitation, the indoor start and finish, coupled with warm refreshments, provide a perfect retreat from the crisp winter air.
