This acclaimed event, now in its 9th year, draws over 350 participants from across the nation, celebrated for its blend of challenging terrain, picturesque views, and genuine small-town hospitality. Runners can choose between the Half Marathon (13.1M), a 12-mile Bike Race, or tackle the distinctive sprint triathlon which substitutes a 1.5-mile kayak leg for swimming, followed by a 5K run and a 12-mile bike ride.
The half marathon route offers a high-altitude scenic run along paved highways, winding through the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area and overlooking the stunning Missouri River region. Bikers will enjoy a 12-mile scenic ride with rolling hills that truly reward those who dominate them. All races kick off from Weigand Beach within the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area, culminating in a vibrant Finish Line Party on Main Street in downtown Crofton. Half Marathon finishers proudly receive a medal, and all participants are treated to a free t-shirt, meal, and beverage at the celebration, often accompanied by live music and Bloody Marys. Over 100 dedicated volunteers ensure a smooth and memorable race day.
