Lace up your running shoes for the 41st annual Diploma Dash 5K presented by North Park Subaru on San Pedro, taking place on February 28, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. This popular 5K City Championship, hosted by the UTSA Alumni Association, invites nearly 2,000 runners to experience a scenic and spirited road course winding through the heart of the beautiful UT San Antonio Main Campus. Expect typical race day conditions with highs around 73F and lows around 51F, and only a 5% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for a memorable race. The course, described as having "some hills," promises an engaging challenge for all participants.

More than just a race, the Diploma Dash is a celebration of Roadrunner pride and community, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting UTSA student scholarships, aiming to raise over $150,000 to empower future Roadrunners. The festivities kick off bright and early with a race festival starting at 7:00 a.m., and the 5K race beginning at 8:00 a.m., both starting and finishing in front of the Convocation Center on campus, where free parking is readily available. Runners will find two water stations strategically placed along the course to keep them hydrated, and for those who bring their registered canine companions, additional water bowls will be available.
