Choose your challenge with either the 6-mile or 2.8-mile trail options, both promising an unforgettable off-road adventure.

The course at Heritage Park offers a fantastic blend of single and double track, leading runners swiftly from a gravel start into the enchanting woods. Expect a dynamic terrain featuring rolling hills, technical sections with roots and rocks, tight and twisty turns, and even a shallow creek crossing. The trails are well-groomed, presenting a beautiful backdrop of dense woods and creeks that will make you forget you're just outside suburban Atlanta. Typical race day conditions in early February offer crisp air, with highs around 56°F and lows around 35°F, and only a 16% chance of precipitation, creating ideal trail running weather.

Dirty Spokes is renowned for its professionally managed events, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Runners appreciate the clearly marked courses, chip timing, and efficient awards ceremony. All participants will receive a super soft tri-blend long-sleeve shirt, a valued memento of their accomplishment. Medals and prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and top three in each age group, celebrating achievements across the board. Packet pickup begins at 7:00 a.m. on race morning, with the race starting promptly at 8:30 a.m.
