Dragons Den Half Marathon, 10k, 5k

Prepare to conquer the Dragons Den Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. Billed as the "hardest half in San Antonio," this event, also featuring a fun 800M Kids' Dash, promises a challenging yet rewarding experience for runners of all levels. Held within the scenic Pearsall Park, participants will embark on a course renowned for its mixed terrain and demanding elevation.

The Dragons Den course winds through Old Pearsall Park, featuring a dynamic mix of rolling hills, trails, dirt paths, and some pavement from the Leon Creek Greenway. Runners will encounter "killer climbs" that offer "awesome views" of San Antonio from the highest peaks. To combat the typical August conditions of highs around 100°F and lows around 77°F, "rejuvenation stations" are strategically placed every mile, providing ice-cold water, electrolytes, and refreshing towels. The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit, with an early cut-off for the first loop, underscoring the demanding nature of this race.
