Drummer Hill Trail Races

Offering a unique "choose your own adventure" format, participants can select their distance from 12.5K, 25K, 37.5K, or the ultimate 50K challenge, by completing one to four laps of a rugged 12.5-kilometer loop. The course traverses technical single track and old jeep roads, featuring notable elevation changes, roots, rocks, fallen trees, and stream crossings, promising a true wilderness experience with potential wildlife sightings. All distances kick off promptly at 8:00 AM, with typical race day conditions seeing highs around 71F and lows near 45F, and a 16% chance of precipitation.

Runners can anticipate a demanding yet rewarding course, with significant climbing in the initial miles of each loop, followed by enjoyable sections of fast, flat, and twisty singletrack before a mostly downhill return to the start. This event, renowned for its classic drumstick awards, is a cupless race; participants should come prepared with their own hydration vests or bottles. Aid stations are strategically located at the start/finish area and a midpoint on the course, generously stocked with water, Tailwind, soda, gels, cookies, bananas, chips, and candy to fuel your journey. Drop bags are also available at the start/finish to support multi-lap runners.
