The course unfolds along the beautiful Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing, featuring a mostly paved, out-and-back route. Runners will appreciate the generally flat terrain with a gentle 36-foot climb, making for a runner-friendly experience. The course offers continuous scenic views of the Appomattox River, including a 15-foot high overlook for picturesque vistas. The 5K and 10K utilize an out-and-back path, while half marathoners will complete the route four times. Typical race day conditions in late July can see highs around 90F and lows around 70F, with a 15% chance of precipitation, so prepare for a warm, potentially humid run.

Known for being well-organized, this race ensures a smooth experience from start to finish.
