Eagle 5K, 10K, and 13.1M

Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the Eagle 5K, 10K, and 13.1M races in Knoxville, TN, on Saturday, July 18, 2026! This exciting event kicks off at 9:00 AM EDT from the scenic Holston River Park, with the starting line conveniently located near Shelter #1. Participants can choose their challenge from three distances: a 5K, a 10K, or a Half Marathon (13.1 miles).

Runners will experience a beautiful out-and-back course. The 5K distance completes two loops, the 10K tackles four loops, and Half Marathon participants will navigate the course six times, all within a generous 3-hour and 30-minute time limit. Typical race day conditions in mid-July can see highs around 88°F and lows around 66°F, with a 20% chance of precipitation. Each finisher will be rewarded with a commemorative medal, and those with a flair for creativity can vie for a prize in the best costume contest.

The Eagle race promises a fun-filled atmosphere and vibrant community spirit, making it an ideal event for both seasoned runners and those beginning their fitness journey. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes prior to the start, so plan to arrive early.
