This popular event offers a distance for every runner, from a fast 5K to a rewarding Half Marathon, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Gadsden. Typical race day conditions in late July feature highs around 87°F and lows near 67°F, with a modest 13% chance of precipitation, providing a warm but generally clear racing environment.

The race kicks off bright and early at 8:00 AM CDT from James Martin Trail Park, where runners will experience a unique course entirely on a pea gravel trail. The out-and-back design offers a consistent and engaging run, with the 5K completing the route twice, the 10K four times, and the Half Marathon challenging participants with six loops of the course. This distinctive surface provides a softer impact compared to asphalt, making for a different running experience.
