Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon

Get ready to experience an exhilarating day of running at the Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, set to take place in beautiful Olympia, WA, on Saturday, July 25, 2026! This popular event offers participants the choice of a 5K, 10K, or a challenging 13.1-mile Half Marathon, catering to a wide range of running enthusiasts. Beginning bright and early at 8:30 AM from Heritage Park, located at 5th Ave SW & Water St SW, you'll embark on a scenic journey through Thurston County. Typical race day conditions in late July feature comfortable lows around 51F and highs around 80F, with a minimal 2% chance of precipitation, promising a pleasant environment for your run.

The course itself is an engaging out-and-back design, allowing runners to focus on their pace amidst picturesque surroundings. Half Marathon participants will complete a 3.18-mile out-and-back loop six times, while 10K runners tackle a shorter 1.56-mile out-and-back loop four times, and 5K participants complete the 1.56-mile loop twice. With a generous course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, this race provides ample opportunity for all finishers to achieve their goals.
