Ed's Hurricane Hustle

Get ready to kick off hurricane season in style at Ed's Hurricane Hustle, set for Saturday, June 13, 2026, in scenic Conway, South Carolina. This energetic event offers runners the choice of a 10K or 5K distance, along with a 1-mile option, promising a memorable experience for all. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 85°F and lows around 71°F, accompanied by a 15% chance of precipitation, making for a warm and invigorating challenge.

Ed's Hurricane Hustle, a popular annual tradition, transforms the Coastal Carolina University campus, with the start and finish lines located at Blanton Park. While the course details suggest a generally flat and fast route, perfect for personal bests, it's the race's unique atmosphere that truly sets it apart. Partnering with local personality Ed Piotrowski and Coastal Carolina University, the event is known for its excitement, even being live-streamed in past years. Participants are encouraged to embrace the fun by sporting their best "Ed Piotrowski look-alike" costumes for a chance to win a special trophy.
