The 5K course itself is a two-lap, cross-country style route that winds through the lush vineyards, providing breathtaking views of Engelheim's 18 acres of estate-grown grapes. While predominantly grass, the terrain includes some areas of uneven footing and gentle inclines, making it a mildly challenging yet thoroughly enjoyable experience suitable for all paces. For those who prefer a shorter stroll, there's even an option to switch to a 1.5-mile walk division after completing one lap. Typical race day conditions in late June feature highs around 84°F and lows around 65°F, with a 15% chance of precipitation.
