Evansville 4th of July Run/Walk

Lace up your running shoes and kick off your Independence Day celebrations with the Evansville 4th of July Run/Walk on Saturday, July 4, 2026! Taking place in picturesque Evansville, WI, this annual tradition offers distances for every pace, including a 10K, 5K, and a 1-Mile "Mini Mile" run/walk. The scenic courses begin and end at beautiful Lake Leota Park, guiding participants around the majestic lake and winding through the charm of Evansville's historic downtown streets, promising a memorable experience for all ages and abilities.

Runners and walkers can expect two well-placed water stations along the 5K and 10K routes to stay refreshed on what are typically warm summer mornings, with historical race day conditions showing highs around 83°F and lows around 61°F, and a modest 15% chance of precipitation. Beyond the personal challenge, this event is a fantastic way to give back, as proceeds benefit vital local charities: the AWARE Agency of Evansville, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and the Evansville Soccer Club.
